Julian L. Arney or "Jule" is the Director of Training & Research at Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation and has been serving LGBTQ+ community members in Western PA for 20 years. Xe graduated from 온라인바카라 with a BA in Psychology, with studies focused in prejudice, discrimination, and public policy. Jule’s passion is leveraging research and data to improve LGBTQ+ community health outcomes.

Jule has developed and facilitated LGBTQIA+ trainings and workshops for government agencies, corporations, social service agencies, parents and caregivers, nonprofits, educators, and schools. Jule served as Vice Chair of the City of Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ Advisory Council from 2017-2019.

In 2024, Allies for Health and Wellbeing recognized Jule as one of Pittsburgh’s "Bright Young People". That same year, TransYOUniting awarded Jule the “True Gem” Award for xyr outstanding contributions, resilience and dedication as a nonbinary individual who has made significant impact on Pittsburgh's LGBTQ+ community.

Jule also serves as the Pittsburgh Chapter Representative to the Stonewall Sports National Board, as well as an at-large member of the Stonewall Kickball Pittsburgh board. Jule plays on local teams for kickball, sand volleyball, and bocce.

Project Coordinator, The Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion

Coming from a background in education and equity, Amber joined the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion team in June of 2023. Drawing on her professional experience working with Queer youth in Florida and her academic experience studying political and intersectional feminist rhetoric in 바카라 온라인 추천's Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Amber uses her passion for LGBTQIA+ representation and advocacy to support Plateful of Pride and Graduate Women Gathering programming at 바카라 온라인 추천. When she's not working, she likes to spend her time being creative by using her Cricut to craft all things sparkly or putting together botanical Lego sets.

Program Coordinator for Community Engagement, College of Engineering

Kaz Shindle is the program coordinator for community engagement for the College of Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. They received their BS in biology from the University of Pittsburgh and their MA degree in gender studies from Indiana University-Bloomington and are in the process of completing their doctorate in gender studies at Indiana University-Bloomington. Kaz has previously worked in various positions in higher education focused on professional development and creating inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive.

Assistant Professor of Psychology, Dietrich College

Michael Trujillo is an assistant professor of psychology at 온라인바카라. Their research examines the social and health consequences of stigma, the pathways that link stigma and health, and the strengths exhibited by stigmatized populations that mitigate these experiences. They apply an intersectional framework to their research questions to move towards greater health equity for all. They received their BA from California State University, Long Beach, PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University, and additional postdoctoral training at University of California, San Francisco.

Liaison to Drama and IDeATe and co-lead of 바카라 온라인 추천’s LGBTQIA+ Faculty & Staff Alliance ERG

Ashley Werlinich is an arts and humanities librarian at 바카라 온라인 추천. She serves as a liaison to Drama and IDeATe as well as a co-liaison to the Entertainment Technology Center and the first-year writing program. She has a background in interdisciplinary humanities and the arts. After earning her BA in English literature with a minor in studio arts from the University of Pittsburgh, Ashley continued her passion for humanities and creative practices through her graduate coursework. She graduated with her MS in Library Sciences from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill in 2021 and earned her MA in English literature at UNC at Chapel Hill in 2019 with a focus on early modern literature, book history, and history of medicine. In her work, Ashley seeks out ways to incorporate special collections, makerspaces, and artistic practices alongside traditional research methods, and teaches many interdisciplinary and creative workshops, including the Arts x Entrepreneurship series that she leads with librarian Jennifer McKee. Ashley also has a passion for outreach and community. She hosts many outreach events on campus both for University Libraries and in her work as a co-lead of the LGBTQIA+ Alliance.

Community, Culture and Engagement Specialist, Office of the Vice Provost for Community, Culture and Engagement

Mark D’Angelo joined 온라인바카라 in August 2021 and currently serves as a Community, Culture and Engagement Specialist. In this role, D’Angelo works with the entire campus community to advance the mission of inclusive excellence (IE) at Carnegie Mellon through professional development. He develops, implements, facilitates and evaluates IE professional development programs, workshops, and trainings that endeavor to cultivate cultural competency and enhance justice, equity, inclusion, awareness, and empathy. In his role, he also supports, connects, uplifts and enhances other IE efforts, programs and professional development happenings across the university. 

Prior to joining 바카라 온라인 추천, D’Angelo served as the assistant director for Student Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Delaware, a role dedicated to improving the experiences of historically minoritized students through the development and implementation of IE programs and workshops for students, staff and faculty. He also worked in a similar capacity as a diversity and inclusion specialist at Salisbury University and began his career in higher education as a graduate assistant for LGBTQ+ Student Outreach & Support at Boston College. Before transitioning into higher education, Mark worked as a public school teacher in New Jersey where he foregrounded IE efforts in his classroom practice. Overall, he has extensive experience in the field of education focusing on IE issues, institutional equity, social justice and student support. 

D’Angelo received his Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from Rutgers University and his Master of Arts in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in curriculum and instruction with a focus on LGBTQ+ equity in education at Boston College. He has presented at several symposia and national and international conferences and has been awarded for the same.

Pittsburgh Pride Parade on Sunday, June 1, 2025
