Bio
Ryan Wilpula is an experienced educator dedicated to promoting respect and safety in educational environments. He earned his bachelor's degree from Gannon University and his master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. With over 24 years in public education, Ryan has served as an English teacher, union president, AP consultant for the College Board, and adjunct professor at Carlow University.
In his current role as Assistant Director of Education and Outreach in the Office for Institutional Equity and Title IX, Ryan designs and leads educational programs focused on preventing sexual violence and misconduct. His work emphasizes raising awareness, fostering healthy relationships, and ensuring compliance with Title IX policies.
Ryan believes strongly in creating a campus culture grounded in respect, safety, and clear communication. He values meaningful collaboration and practical strategies that help everyone feel supported and informed.
Ryan lives in Lawrenceville with his wife, Melissa, and their two sons, Eliot and Holden.
