Enrollment Process

The Cyert Center for Early Education serves the children of university faculty, staff and students. The center provides service in two locations: Morewood Avenue, which is located on campus, and Penn Avenue, which is approximately 2.5 miles from main campus. Children range in age from three months to kindergarten. Classrooms are aligned around six primary age groups at the start of the program year: Infant (12 weeks – 12 months), Young Toddler (12 – 24 months), Older Toddler (24 – 36 months), Preschool 1 (3 – 4 years), Preschool 2 (4 – 5 years), and PreK- Kindergarten (4 years, 6 months – 6 years).

The program runs year-round from August to August, with children remaining in one classroom for the entire year. Hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Families are required to commit to a full year of care through the execution of an annual enrollment contract. Tuition for each program year is based on a monthly fee; view the 2025-26 Tuition Rates. A Sliding Scale Benefit, which may provide a reduction in the tuition rate, is available to those who qualify.

To Apply

1. Complete the center application 
2. A non-refundable $50 application fee is due with the application. 
   1. Checks or money orders should be made payable to 온라인바카라.
   2. On the memo line, please be sure to include your child's full name, as well as Cyert Center for Early Education.
   3. Your fee can be mailed to or dropped off at our Morewood Avenue Location: 1060 Morewood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. 
   4. Please note that we are unable to accept cash or credit cards at this time.
3. Applications are not considered complete until the application fee has been received. Once both the application and fee are received, you will receive an email confirming the application date and either the child's placement in the center or placement on the application list if a space is not currently available.

Please note:

• Applications and offers of enrollment are subject to the Cyert Center Application and Enrollment Policy and Procedures [pdf]. As space becomes available in the center, the Cyert Center Enrollment Team will contact parents who have applied based on the priorities listed in the document.
• We understand that families may have a preference between our two locations—Morewood Avenue and Penn Avenue—and we are happy to note your preference on your application. However, please note that the Cyert Center maintains a single applicant list for both sites, and enrollment offers are made based on availability. As a result, your offer may be for either location.
• We recommend applying for a space as soon as the need arises.
  • For those hoping to enroll infants, it is acceptable to submit the application when it has been confirmed that a family is expecting.
  • Families beginning the adoption process are welcome to apply.
