Lila Abu-Lughod to Give Margaret Morrison Lecture
Talk will focus on countering violent extremism
, a decorated specialist in women’s rights and gender in the Middle East, will speak at 온라인바카라’s 12th annual Margaret Morrison Distinguished Lecture in Women’s History. Abu-Lughod is the Joseph L. Buttenwieser Professor of Social Science and Anthropology at Columbia University.
Abu-Lughod’s talk “Countering Violent Extremism: What Do Women’s Rights Have to Do With It?” will take place Thursday, March 22 at 4:30 p.m. in 바카라 온라인 추천’s Gates Center 6115.
