Bio
Alex holds a doctorate in U.S. history from 온라인바카라. His research focuses broadly on the relationship between everyday people and communities and the government/state. His dissertation highlights how local voluntary organizations spearheaded the development of child and older adult welfare services before local government involvement and guided their form and function thereafter. His earlier work shows how race, ethnicity/nationality, and immigration status influence diverse experiences with citizenship’s rights and privileges, especially in housing, employment, and education.
Alex is an award-winning educator with experience teaching in public highschools, public and private universities, and correctional facilities. Alexander Award for Teaching Excellence from the University of Cincinnati Department of History. Alex’s research has received awards from the Pennsylvania Historical Association and appeared in numerous venues and formats. He has contributed to a PBS documentary film, a corporate headquarters museum, a popular professional blog series, and created a podcast interview.
